WELCOME TO GOL LABS
We believe football should be accessible to all, not just a few iPhone wielding, 4G connected, cable TV subscribed sporters. From the outskirts of Lagos, to the beaches of Rio De Janeiro, to the markets of Jakarta, our mission is to unite the world’s 3.5 billion football fans by confronting the challenges of accessing the internet and re-imagining the experience of following a match. If you are holding a mobile device, we will connect you to the passion, excitement and community inspired by the most beautiful game.About us

We are recruiting technologists that have a passion for delivering great user experiences and building global communities.
The role. Software engineer not scared of getting their hands dirty in all parts of the code base, experience with ridiculous scale. Mobile experience targeting low-end devices, low bandwidth a plus. Side interest in exploring crazy solutions to connectivity and affordable hardware. An engaged engineer interested in helping to define the Gol Labs eng culture.
What to expect. Watch soccer all day long (or don't). Travel to far flung places to engage with our community. Get aquatic for Friday lunch (inquire within for more details). Be part of a diverse group that is just as quick to discuss South African house music as they are to discuss how to physically distribute apps to people with limited bandwidth. All other normal bla bla bla startup perks included. Live that Gol Labs lifestyle!
